Saving Favorite Facilities

FindHosi allows you to save healthcare facilities to your favorites list for quick access later. This guide explains how to manage your favorite facilities.

Adding Facilities to Favorites

There are two ways to add a healthcare facility to your favorites:

Method 1: From the Facility Card

1. In either Map View or List View, locate the facility you want to save
2. On the facility card, click the heart icon to add it to your favorites
3. The heart icon will fill with red to indicate the facility has been added to favorites

Method 2: From Facility Details

1. Open the detailed view of the facility you want to save
2. Click the heart icon in the top-right corner of the facility details
3. The heart icon will fill with red to indicate the facility has been added to favorites

Accessing Your Favorites

You can access your saved favorite facilities at any time:

1. Click on the "Favorites" link in the main navigation menu
2. You'll be taken to the Favorites page, which displays all your saved healthcare facilities
3. Your favorites are displayed in a list format, similar to the List View on the main page

Managing Your Favorites

Searching Within Favorites

You can search through your favorite facilities:

1. On the Favorites page, use the search bar at the top of the page
2. Type your search query to filter your favorites based on name, address, services, or specialties
3. The list will update in real-time to show only the favorites that match your search

Removing Facilities from Favorites

To remove a facility from your favorites:

1. Find the facility you want to remove in your favorites list
2. Click the filled heart icon to remove it from your favorites
3. The heart icon will return to its outline state, and the facility will be removed from your favorites list

Alternatively, you can remove a facility from your favorites while viewing it on the main page or in the facility details by clicking the filled heart icon.

Viewing Favorite Facility Details

To view the details of a facility in your favorites:

1. On the Favorites page, click on the facility you want to view
2. You'll be redirected to the main page with the facility details open
3. From there, you can access all the information about the facility, including contact details, services, and reviews

Saving healthcare facilities to your favorites offers several advantages:

• Quick access to facilities you visit regularly
• Save time by not having to search for the same facilities repeatedly
• Create a personalized list of preferred healthcare providers
• Easily compare different facilities you're considering
• Keep track of specialized facilities for different health needs

Data Storage and Privacy

It's important to understand how your favorites data is stored:

• Your favorites are stored locally on your device
• Favorites data is not shared with FindHosi servers or third parties
• Your favorites will persist between sessions on the same device
• If you clear your browser data or use a different device, your favorites will not be available unless you save them again
• For cross-device access to favorites, we recommend creating an account in a future update
